I am a hard-working, detail-oriented, happy person who is motivated by community service and the arts. At Ron Warren Photography, I network to develop new business and work directly with clients to produce special days such as weddings, corporate events, and professional portraits. For a city with no public artwork in 2011, I led the charge of bringing an art space, an annual art fair, and the DIA Inside Out displays to the community of Oak Park, Michigan. I also launched Third-Thursday programming and Second-Sunday art-making events.I earned my Master of Education in Reading from Wayne State University to better serve my young students. As an elementary school teacher, in addition to leading classes and writing annual lesson plans, I developed communications to engage parents and caretakers, wrote and published weekly newsletters, and ran the yearly Book Fair, each year increasing funds raised by 15% over the previous year. For the past seven years, I have worked in the accounting department of a small construction company in metro-Detroit. As part of the team, I created job tracking and processed invoices to keep our business flowing. During my tenure I improved efficiencies and accepted additional responsibilities across departments and functions.My passion for travel has taken me throughout the United States, Guam, Palau, Australia, Germany, Italy, and the Caribbean.
