Worked as a site and design electrical engineer for the Independent Engineer of the Nea Odos andKentrikis Ellados Concessions, with main responsibility the Toll Collection System.In detail performed:▪ Design Check and Review for the Concessions.▪ Check and Review of the incorporated Materials in the Works.▪ Audit, supervision and commissioning of the installations of the Traffic Management (in excess of1040km open road systems and 24km of tunnel systems) and Toll Control System (244 lanes and43 toll stations in total) in the Concessions.▪ Audit, supervision and commissioning of electromechanical works on various sites of theConcession Works (buildings, roadlighting at interchanges and underpasses, irrigation systemsetc).▪ Quantity Surveying and Work Certification Checks for works of the Concessions.

J/V "Electromec S.A. - Dimer S.A." was created to undertake the construction of the project "Electronic Devices for the control of vehicle speed in dangerous positions of the national road network: supply, installation and maintenance of the devices".The project was funded by the Ministry of Works and had an initial budget of 10.785.000 Euros.As a site engineer and assistant project manager I- inspected the prototype testing- supervised the installations of the devices- was in charge of the logistics of the supplied materials- did detailed quantity surveying- drafted the certifications towards the ministry

Cern

I attended the Summer Student Programme at CERN and worked for the COMPASS experiment.Prior to my visit at CERN I was part of the NTUA team working on the quality control of the ATLAS muon tubes, and checking the simulation software for the ATLAS experiment.
