I am Debapriya Sen Majumder, a proud entrepreneur and owner of Upswing Ventures PVT Ltd - Manufacturer of Jute and Cotton bags.With over 20 years of experience in the industry, I have dedicated myself to manufacturing, supplying, and exporting exquisite handmade cotton /Jute / Canvas products such as bags, cushions, place mat , table runners and aprons . Before embarking on this entrepreneurial journey, I spent several years working in the same sector as a Designer/merchandising manager where I honed my leadership skills and perfected my designing and communication abilities.I take great pride in providing training workshops to the slum women needing support, where they learn the art ofstitching and bag making. Poverty in slum areas is a major concern as the household income is very low. Our aims to alleviate poverty among local women and improve their living standards. So we named it Upswing ventures. The project is designed as a small-sized bag sewing unit under a working program for the betterment of slum women and their employment. This project is a source of livelihood for most women who, in turn, will be in a position to support their children's education.
