Designed, built, and maintained company’s internal data infrastructure, including customer and technical support databases, backup and recovery plans, maintenance plans, and site monitoring software. Established best practices for software development, testing, and technical support. Trained and educated developers with the use of new languages, technologies, and software design techniques. Designed and developed technical support and lead tracking databases and software. Designed and developed many web-based database driven systems, including an online statistical database for the International Monetary Fund (IMF). Project requirements and technologies varied, the most recent projects included use of the C# and ASP.NET, older projects used ASP, T-SQL, COM, and C++ as needed. Designed and developed company’s flagship products (Largo, Cheetah) using various languages and technologies, including C++, Java, Perl, VBScript, ASP, T-SQL (MS-SQL Server), PL/SQL (Oracle), and COM. Largo is a content management system with integrated e-commerce capability in use by 30 newsletter publishers to publish and sell their content online; Cheetah was a full-text search engine for Bulletin Board Systems used in the early to mid 1990s. Designed and developed custom online systems for customers such as Charles Schwab & Co. (StreetSmart/e.Schwab), and America Online (2Market) using various languages and technologies including C++, T-SQL, Visual BASIC and FoxPro. Installed and administered company’s internal networks on various network operating systems, including Novell Netware, Windows NT and 2000, Solaris, and Linux. Installed and supported company’s various Internet connections, including configuration and maintenance of Cisco and Livingston routers.
