Years of experience as a visual artist, graphic designer, photographer, and art history scholar have thoroughly prepared me with the skills to be highly successful in the creative field. I have enjoyed working with many types of organizations, from The Boston Globe to smaller, more independent publications, as well as a freelance designer and photographer. Aside from simply being learning experiences, many of my favorite positions were those that cultivated comfort and energy within a collaborative, fast-paced environment, where I excelled in conceptualizing projects through to the final production.Several of my achievements, interests, and skills include: the completion of my graduate thesis,“The Persistence of and Resistance to Structure: The Grid-Square Construct in Western Visual Culture,” through Harvard University Extension School; extensive knowledge of and proficiency with graphic design and photo-editing software, digital photography and video, and familiarity with web design; an impeccable eye for detail and quality; excellence in handling office tasks and client interaction with the utmost professionalism; and deepening my interest in and involvement with Baltimore's many diverse offerings in the performing and visual arts. I am also an avid cyclist.
