As a student ambassador, I was invovled in the running of Aviation's contribution to Open Days and Applicant Days. This mainly revolved around operating the flight simulators (either the University's CAA approved FNPTII or Airbus A320 Simulator). Whilst giving the students an experience on them, I also chatted lots to parents (who have inevitable parent questions!) to put their minds at ease and answer any questions they may have. I was also part of the Aviation Exhibitions Team. Attending and setting up exhibitions at Pilot Careers Live Events at Heathrow, Manchester, Leeds and Frankfurt. This involved a full day of chatting to potential pilots and selling the University option to them, most of whom won't have considered a degree but entering into flight training directly instead.
