I am a seasoned business professional with more than 30 years experience in general management, business development, marketing in medical device markets. I began my career as a nurse working in the OR and Critical Care departments, then completed my business degree in order to work effectively in the business of healthcare devices. My experience in the medical devices field spans a wide range including sales professional, product management, business development (including M&A, strategic alliances, OEM, etc.), and general management I have worked for large corporations (Abbott Laboratories, Pfizer, Edwards Lifesciences) as well as for mid-sized and start-up organizations. This breadth of experience helps me bring structure and analysis along with creativity and flexibility to business decisions. My clinical and business experience provides me with the unique ability to see challenges and opportunity from the perspective of both the clinical user and the seasoned business manager.
