Biography of Dave Pattinson I.Eng., FIMMM., CQP MCQIDave is a highly experienced Chairman, Managing Director, Management Consultant, Electrical Engineer and Quality Assurance Professional. He has extensive UK & International expertise in markets of mining, oil, gas, petrochemical, process industries and UK Rail.Dave began his career in 1971 as an Electrical Apprentice in the National Coal Board, quickly moving up the Electrical Engineering and Quality Assurance ranks.His final appointment there in the late 1980's was with British Coal as a Senior Inspector of Quality Management Systems at HQ.Dave then took up the post of Management Consultant at Bywater Technology Ltd London, providing consultancy & training services to blue chip and SME businesses within the UK and overseas.In the early 1990's Dave joined Rolls Royce Industrial Power Division and later led a Management buy-out. He became Operations Director for 6 years and then Managing Director of Baldwin & Francis Ltd, Sheffield for 12 years.He has held positions of Chair of the Electrical Committee, Council member & President of the Association of British Mining Equipment Companies (ABMEC) and BASEEFA Ltd Advisory Board Member.During 2012, Dave established his own Management Consultancy - Dave Pattinson Associates Ltd.In the past 5 years, he has carried out many assignments with SME’s within the South Yorkshire region with 4-10 staff and sales revenues between GBP £2,000-£400,000 per annum.Dave was the Moderator at the ABMEC trade Association Conference on the 20th November, 2014. The theme was "​ Entering New Markets"​ and investigates new areas and ways to market within the industry.Dave was guest speaker at Probus event in the Hope Valley, Derbyshire on the 4 December, 2014. His paper is titled: "An engineers view of domestic Solar (PV) systems"​On the 24 February, 2015 Dave was registered as a Strategic Business Adviser for Enterprise Nation in the sector of "Leadership & Management".
