Daniel Pecoraro is a Senior Program Manager at the Gilder Lehrman Institute of American History. At the Institute, he is part of the team responsible for managing the Institute's highly popular Teacher Seminars each summer, and manages various professional development programs at the Institute. Daniel currently also manages The Right to Vote: The Role of States and the US Constitution, a multi-year project funded by the Annenberg Public Policy Center. From 2016 through October 2021, Daniel was also responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Affiliate School Program, a network of over 34,000 K-12 schools worldwide, and coordinated monthly offerings to teachers along with a series of essay contests which have served grades 2-12.Prior to joining the Gilder Lehrman Institute staff, he served simultaneously as School Groups Coordinator and Member and Donor Relations Coordinator at the National Museum of Mathematics, including management of school trip series for Title I schools sponsored by Google, Con Edison, OppenheimerFunds, and Two Sigma Investments. In addition to his work at GLI, Daniel is a licensed New York City sightseeing guide and has delivered tours as part of Jane's Walk NYC and Untapped New York's Insiders program, and contributed virtual tours to Urban Archive's "City Story" series and to the Clio Muse Tours app. A proud alumnus of the New York City public school system from Kindergarten through Master's degree, Daniel earned his BA in History at Macaulay Honors College at Hunter College in 2014 and his MA in History at Hunter in 2017. Finally, Daniel appeared on the syndicated version of Who Wants to Be a Millionaire in 2011, NPR's Ask Me Another in 2014, and most recently faced superchamp Matt Amodio on Jeopardy! in September 2021.
