Responsible for the cleaning and tidying of rooms of guests staying and departing. A large focus was placed upon the little details which would come together to create the perfect guest experience. The work environment was fast-paced and required independent work the majority of the time. This meant that I had to make decisions without consulting a supervisor, weighing options and executing this decision with confidence to ensure the best guest experience. Additionally, I was responsible for keeping the public areas tidy and clean, as well as the housekeeping cupboard and cart. I was responsible for detailing the linen used for the day and updating spreadsheets to ensure there was no wasted or miscounted linen.
