Part of the Amazon Web Services (AWS) Infrastructure Deployment team, which is responsible for day-to-day installation of new server and network equipment, testing & turn-up of that equipment, supervision of structured cabling projects by outside vendors, project management for these deliveries to increase capacity and redundancy on time, problem resolution & mitigation, and capacity management in general, all in a hyper multi-location multi-building Data Center (DC) Cluster. Additionally, involved with the installation and troubleshooting of structured cabling, management of infrastructure inventory levels, physical installation of network and server racks and/or devices, and management of data center services’ Vendors (aka MSP’s).Working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment to drive the stability and sustainability of our next-generation networks and assist in the development of innovative ways to automate and scale our network by using AWS Leadership Principles.
