Roles and Projects:• Live Reliability: Self driving the development/deployment of Live Reliability across all Shell LOB’s (and NOV’s) providing current analyses/future prediction of Asset (system-wide) performance– NPV ~$20m per deployment (proven capability in closing Gap to Potential) with $100m in Deep Water GoM. Key proactive enabler for multiple AMS Processes (MTO, MAC etc) and Causal Learning. Contributing significantly to the SAP4HANA Development (CMMS Hierarchy build) and reliability predictive capabilities in DT.• Global Subject Matter Expert (RAM Modelling): Leading the development of the Targeted Asset Operation (TAO) Team. Providing SME assurance for TAO technical work and external consultancies. NL Representative to reliability-related International Standards (ISO) 3250, 14224, 20815 and 12489.• Training: Development and Delivery of Technical Reliability training (REA) to the MRTA and wider Asset, Safety, Integrity communities. Mission Critical Tactic.• Unique studies: ALARP demonstrations and decision optimisation – Abandoned Well Leakage Assessments, Pipeline Integrity (Arctic environs), Complex HIPPS configurations, Corrosion Predictions, RBI optimisation, Deep Water (Subsea Compression), Shell Failure Data Database, Shell Global Bad Actor Reporting Platform.• Current Projects: RAM and Reliability Management for CoG/IG/CP/JV/NOV Assets and Projects, Energy Transition space (H2, Wind (NPV~$60m), Decarbonization and Biofuels). Employed as a Research Assistant whilst undertaking research leading to a PhD in Engineering (Structural Reliability). As a result of my research, I delivered a number of conference papers and contributed to professional papers and reports on the public domain. The PhD research focussed on the integrity of ageing assets with a specific focus on Offshore Steel Jacket Structures and how asset specific information can be gained and subsequently included in reliability assessments. A key sponsor of the PhD research was the UK HSE as they are/were facing significant safety issues with ageing offshore assets in the North Sea. The research provided new and improved guidelines for industry use in demonstrating ALARP and compliance with the Safety Case Regulations. Prior to this - Short term contract for the preparation of distance learning material in Occupational Health and Safety and involved in the preparation of a tender for the provision of Distance Learning to the UK Health and Safety Executive.
