I am currently serving in the Manpower Branch of the 780th Battalion, Singapore Infantry Regiment (780 SIR) as part of my Operationally Ready National Service (ORNS). Upon completion of my Basic Military Training, I was posted to the Manpower Branch of the 3rd Battalion, Singapore Infantry Regiment (3 SIR) to fulfill my full-time national service obligation. During my tenure, I effectively managed and executed various manpower functions to ensure smooth administrative and disciplinary operations, which significantly strengthened the battalion's overall effectiveness and readiness.Key Functions:• Managed and advised soldiers on allowance and promotion matters.• Managed the exit process to ensure all administrative matters were completed before soldiers' ORD or discharge.• Advised officers on the correct disciplinary procedures to ensure all discipline cases were handled in accordance with the disciplinary guidelines.
