Management Accounting and Statutory Accounting (BR-GAAP), Cost Accounting, Tax, Treasury, Accounts Payable and Receivable, Billing, Transfer Pricing, Risk / Insurance Management, Inventory Control, Payroll, Contract / Project Management, Internal Controls / Compliance and External Audit (Deloitte). Reporting to the CFO, my main roles and responsibilities were:• Senior Corporate Internal Controls Manager (Apr/2005 to Dec/2010), I was responsible for compliance and risk analysis, SOX 404 annual certification and internal controls. I managed 3 auditors. • Controller – Symbol Technologies do Brasil (Jun/2008 to Dec/2008), This company was acquired by Motorola in 2007 and was located in Barueri/SP. I was responsible for the company’s financial area, activity jointly executed with the Internal Control assignment at Motorola. I managed 5 employees.• Inventory Control Manager (Mar/2007 to Dec/2010), responsible for managing manufacturing and distribution inventory controls (supply chain in Jaguariuna/SP) including cycle count process. Managing a team of 5 analysts.• Corporate Treasury Manager (Sep/2001 to Mar/2005) Reporting to the Treasurer at the headquarters and dotted line to the CFO Brazil, I was responsible for cash management, FX contracts, cash investments, hedging, bank relationship, intercompany transactions, account payables and cash flow. Managing also the company’s insurance policies and payroll payment process. I managed a staff of 3 supervisors, 10 analysts and 2 interns.• Corporate Accounting Manager (Feb/2000 to Aug/2001) Responsible for accounting closing process in US-GAAP and BR-GAAP, review and approving accounting conciliations, corporate budget (annual and three-year) preparation and support to external auditor (KPMG). I managed 2 supervisors and 8 analysts.• Business Controllership Manager of the Cellular Infrastructure Business (CIG) (Jan/1997 to Jan/2000), Participation on business start up process in Brasil. Responsible for financial planning, Budget preparation, pricing, contract management, accounts payable and receivable, billing and inventory control activities. Supporting the commercial area in validating proposals and budget. Hiring and managing a team consisting of 12 analysts.
