As co-chair, I help lead an international, all-volunteer, distributed team from multiple organizations to advance the practice of Product Line Engineering for Systems Engineering through the premier and authoritative organization in Systems Engineering.

I am responsible for designing, developing, and delivering BigLever’s core product to Fortune 100 customers in the Aerospace, Defense, and Automotive sectors. As the principal engineer for the core product, my responsibilities cover the full breadth of engineering concerns – everything from DevOps to documentation to product planning. In addition to these engineering duties, I also collaborate with the rest of the organization to deliver customer training, customer support, enterprise IT, technical sales support, and organizational planning.* Design, develop, document, maintain, and validate all features for the company’s core software product.* Conduct functional and non-functional testing and validation across multiple operating systems and integrated tools, ensuring product quality and reliability.* Resolve complex functional and non-functional issues and occasionally deliver same-day and overnight fixes.* Collaborate with customers to execute "expedited development" projects.* Investigate, reproduce, and resolve customer issues related to all aspects of the solution (including non-technical issues) and manage all related communication.* Participate in developing technical standards and professional guides to ensure consistency with Product Line Engineering (PLE) best practices (e.g., SysMLv2 OMG standard, INCOSE publications).* Design, develop, and maintain the DevOps and CI systems for the core product, libraries, and integration products, including desktop/server-based app installers, code obfuscation, code signing & notarization, automated testing, and static analysis.* Lead multi-day technical workshops as the technical expert and moderator. This includes training engineers in Product Line Engineering (PLE) technology and PLE methodology to ensure a positive and realistic experience.
