- Attend morning and afternoon show meetings to discuss the stories of the day and explore new angles of interest- Pitch relevant and interesting stories for the show- Arrange booking and transportation for guests- Escort and greet guests in the New York Bureau - Assist producers in gathering elements for segments of the show- Research guests and gather sources in Breaking News situations- Assist in the control room during daily broadcasts

- Go out on shoots in the Los Angeles area and help the producers and camera operators with onsite research and pre-interviews of potential interview subjects - Collect and organize research on story topics Nightly News- Assist producers in gathering elements for stories- Log incoming tape in order to organize it for editing and for the benefit of the producers- Assist and observe producers during the editing process- Pitch stories regarding noteworthy and important news events in the western hemisphere of the Untied States

- Attend all internal meetings to learn about recent industry and business developments, see all moving parts of a network and contribute comments- Learn to use Program Tracking Software to schedule on-screen graphics and promotions for Comedy Central and eventually became self-sufficient in scheduling promotions and graphics- Collate data and provide supplementary industry research for use by entire programming staff- Provide an review of competing network’s on-screen graphics in order to evaluate and improve graphics on Comedy Central- Pitched an original comedy on another network to Comedy Central network executives to be acquired by Comedy Central

Greater New York City Area

- Attend all related internal meetings to capture notes, action items and next steps related to production- Collate data and provide supplementary research for use in the historical-mining phase- Execute a daily review of trade publications to clip articles related to NYC Media and NYC Mayor’s Office- Provide general logistic support related to events, and daily office management- Assist in polling people on the street to better direct the nature of information provided in documentaries
