Whether I’m assisting organizations, consultants, my own team members or retirees, every decision has to weigh the human impact.After serving 10 years as a retirement plan consultant, I know the value of having relationships where both parties can grow. My role at TIAA is twofold: to create and implement our firm strategy of being long-term partners to our consultants, and to support our broader organizational strategy of consistently adding value to our clients’ plans, and in turn, their participants’ futures.I can rely on my team to execute, allowing me to shape the big picture strategy by:● meeting with consultants and their colleagues regularly● analyzing results, and adjusting and honing strategic objectives● fostering team building and development, because internal relationships matter tooGrowing up on the water has given me a taste of what I’d like from my own eventual retirement. I love traveling to warm-weather destinations, and devote my free time to my twin daughters. I look forward to re-engaging with my retirement aspirations of spending time fishing, boating—anything outdoors and near the ocean.
