I’ve always been driven to serve. Throughout my 35-year career in the private sector and the military it’s been my mission to keep people safe. My current mission is to help change the world and improve safety through technology and the lens of data. My data science, hardware and software expertise, combined with my desire to do more for society, allows me to synthesize complex issues, build clear strategies and lead a program’s execution. Today I work to identify and address global public safety issues, analyzing varied data to provide a cohesive framework for the development and deployment of safety solutions. Current efforts leverage data science, machine learning and natural language processing to bring new insights to light. I have led small project teams to large IT organizations and have implemented many initiatives, including transformation programs, business strategies, complex technology implementation projects and IT operations that supported more than 4,000 employees across the U.S. and Canada. Additionally, I have more than 10 years of experience in engineering and IT consulting within the nuclear power industry in a variety of roles. I also serve on the Community Board of Outreach Community Center, providing services to at-risk youth and elders in the Carol Stream area, and support organizations such as the Wounded Warrior Project and the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. In my spare time, I brew my own beer and am an avid distance runner.Specialties: Leadership, data science, program and project management, strategic transformation programs, IT operations, IT planning and governance, managed IT services, IT consulting and engineering consulting.
