I am working on the knowledge management projects - the Digital Botanical Gardens Initiative (DBGI) and the Earth Metabolome Initiative (EMI). My research is focused on incorporating the data from TRY-db plant datasets and GLOBI pairwise interactions in a knowledge graph depicting connections between organisms and their metabolic content. I was amongst 20 selected participants in COMET-career program at Uni Bern, which focusses on female early career researchers and mentors them. Investigating the role of gut microbiota in metabolic disorders (associated with obesity) in a gnotobiotic mouse model.Build models of temporal gut microbial interactions with a live vaccine candidate.

Investigated evolution of a potential live vaccine candidate over long term colonization in mouse gut. Inferred pathway clusters from mouse gastrointestinal tissues in response to the live vaccine. Built a reproducible pipeline for classifying nanopore amplicon sequencing data from microbial communities.
