I have been working on multiple means of ripping all the excess latency out of the internet for 15 years, be it in algorithms (CAKE, fq_codel, fq_codel for wifi), or within various standards organizations, or within OpenWrt on many embedded products, and Linux, as well as writing and presenting extensively about it. We´ve made enormous progress from theory to deployments over that time. I do keep hoping that my expertise in these areas, including packet capture analysis, volunteer management, network related theory, pays off for me, also, one day.
