Responsible for GoDaddy's Content Management System which hosts godaddy.com Front of Site (sales and landing pages)* This involves Performance engineering to make sure each page loads quickly no matter where in the world our customer is. * Internationalization to make sure our content is easily understood and actionable for our customers no matter where in the world they are. * Working hand and hand with marketing to make sure content changes, Multi Variate testing, Personalization and Advertising can be done by an operations team without getting any developers involved.My role requires me to work daily with business partners (marketing, advertising, product teams) to help create solutions that can be turned into repeatable patterns and added to our CMS system. In this role I am responsible for maturing our CMS and Sales APIs. Our CMS team is focused on delivering an editing experience that enhances non-engineers ability to manage content, split test content and personalize content. We are working in conjunction with the personalization team to create a streamlined experience for reviewing the results of these experiments. The API development team is focused on creating a layer of API’s that abstract business logic of our sales platform for internal and external consumption.

In this role I created and maintained long term development plans and architectures for our Mobile Site, Mobile Apps, Architecture group, Data Collections (Traffic and Analytics data gathering and aggregation) and Content Management System (CDS and CMS systems).Much of what I do is promote a positive culture to support agile development, evolving coding standards and development patterns. Keeping a focus on maintainability and performance of our code while evaluating new technologies to meet tomorrows scalability challenges. I spend time working with Marketing and other application groups throughout the company to gather their needs and create appropriate strategies to meet company goals.I maintain the Mobile Site and Applications team for Go Daddy’s enterprise platform and eCommerce team doing much of the same work I had in my prior Manager of Mobile Development Role. The Architecture group is responsible for maintaining & extending core framework, new development patterns, development standards and educating a group of 150+ developers on those standards. Our Data Collections team is responsible for our in house traffic system, Google Analytics integration, survey system and universal data collectors used for driving our personalization engines. Our CMS team is responsible for managing and extending our Content Management System to enable Marketing, UX and international team members to make quick changes to content.

In this role I was tapped to create a mobile site and applications for Go Daddy’s eCommerce group. This required learning Objective C to develop an iPhone application, which was deployed Sept 2009 and remains in the app store today. I then built and maintained a Blackberry and Android application. When starting this team I was the only member I then grew the group into 2 teams a Mobile Site team with 4-7 developers and a Mobile Apps team with 4-7 developers. During this time I also created a mobile strategy for the company and had success creating integrations with application teams throughout the company. I worked closely with marketing to leverage mobile as an engagement tool and new customer creation engine while optimizing conversion through both the apps and site.

Worked for the eCommerce Framework Team building and maintaining multiple systems including, purchase processing, fulfillment, cancelation, accounting systems and message queuing systems. This group worked with COM C++ with a series of STL web services and multithreaded C++ windows applications for caching and message processing. C# was used in the last 2 years of working with this group to build an abstraction layer (Atlantis) to allow reuse of common stored procedure calls and web service calls by 100+ engineers.

Started this role while finishing my CS degree and worked primarily verifying code for web projects pushed to GoDaddy.com. During this role I built a C# multi threaded automated site scrapper and mapper to help track down all 404 links. The application also ran string-matching algorithms to find content that should not exist on the site any longer. After 6 months in this role I was promoted to run our Load Test Environment and my major accomplishment in the role was load-testing GoDaddy.com’s eCommerce site for our first super bowl commercial.

Constructed and submitted business plan to Edson entrepreneurship initiative at ASU. Start-up funding and office space was granted to create a web application that allowed users to search and review local restaurants in the Phoenix metro area. Due to limited user base we closed the site and moved onto other things.CISYM standing for Can I See Your Menu was a platform to display and manage a restaurant menu while creating a simple portal for restaurants to manage Hours, Deals and Images.

Developed a simulator to validate and improve a variety of algorithms focused on Adaptive Stream Sampling in Real Time Sensors. This work was done under Professor Huan Liu for Motorola to help accurately identify real time events while driving a car.
