Student intern in the Communications and Marketing department of Nashville State. Responsibilities included gathering information for use in internal and external communications in regards to satellite campuses as well as collaboration on ongoing projects within the department.

As a student leader, I served in a variety of roles throughout my year of service. I served as a communicator, advocate, and facilitator. As a member of the college/postsecondary officer team, we lead both regional and state conferences as well as being a representative of the state of Tennessee at the SkillsUSA National Leadership and Skills Conference. As a state officer, I also served my local chapter and taught members skills from the SkillsUSA Framework to help them become career-ready.
