I write children's books to inspire kids to be the best version of themselves through imagination, character-building, and affirmations. My goal is to advocate for and to promote literacy by providing diverse and uplifting stories that authentically represent BIPOC characters in the children's literature space; but also, to share them with the world. My goal in publishing the works of other (aspiring) authors is to facilitate the self-publishing process by offering a stream-lined variety of related services and resources (see my website) that will allow them to realize their dream through creating and releasing a work that they are proud to showcase.The fabric of my professional background reflects my 15+ years of work experience and unique blend of skills related to classroom and online instruction, as well as editing, planning, and administrative tasks. In my roles, I have overseen the curriculum design and development, instructional delivery, and performance assessments of learners. I have also coordinated and facilitated professional development training for professionals. Finally, I have created/revised written content for the purpose of instruction and professional development in education.All of this has provided a remarkable perspective from which I'm privileged to write, publish, speak, and create.
