SIGRA is the leader in development, production, and marketing of vegetable fats in the bakery industry in Colombia Led a cross-functional innovation team of 7 people across R&D, Sales, Finance, HR, and Customer Service. Team responsible for the creation, commercialization and financial feasibility of new business models and new products that resulted in a $5M increase in sales of new bakery products (B2B) and new edible oil products (B2C) Conceptualized and partnered with R&D on a new edible vegetable oil, called MAX, which focused on enhancing the production of brain cells in children through an addition of DHA (essential fatty acids). MAX was the first frying oil to use the DHA from algae, an alternative to the traditional omega 3 fatty acids derived from fish Created and managed a new logistics model with the Operations, Sales, and Finance teams for B2B products. The new model increased delivery speed from up to 72 hours to same day delivery and increased speed of customer payments from up to 30 days to pay on delivery. Model replicated successfully in additional Colombian cities Led the cultural transformation of the company towards a more innovative organization by educating employees on the best innovation practices globally. Partnered with HR on creating a reward program for employees who generated, developed and implemented the ideas, leading to an increase in the company’s innovation pipeline

Dry Tech Ltd was a company focused on pulp, juices and dried aloe vera products Patent pending and resources awarded by Colombian government for the design and construction of drying equipment by the transfer of heat by infrared radiation to obtain aloe vera powder Co-Inventor and Project Manager of a machine able to dry aloe vera into powder. Collaborated with mechanical engineers in the development of the machine that increased the shelf life of fresh aloe from less than 48 hours to 6 months Created a new category of fruit pulp sweetened with stevia, making it the first fruit pulp in the Colombian market naturally sweetened Led logistics operations, product development, innovation and sales of finished product of the pulp and frozen fruits to the largestgreengrocers in the Colombian market
