The Covid virus/ crisis prevented me from supplying staff to overseas clients -so I took the time to fulfil my ambition of writing my first novel - entitled “ Lucky/ Unlucky “.The 2nd manuscript has now been professionally edited, and I hope to find a publisher in 2024. The genre is Historical Fiction with both dark and light shades of humour. A sequel to the aforementioned is some 50% completed.

My time with Almarai saw me handling multiple vacancies, recruiting managers for Finance/Audit, Engineering, Sales, Marketing, Human Resources, Production, Construction, Quality, Product Development, IT, Project Managers and Business Unit Heads etc. Dealt directly with the General Managers/ HR Management & Hiring Managers. Advising and coaching where needed. I dealt directly with the CEO and COO regarding ‘confidential’ senior executive appointments. Joint venture companies [JV partner PepsiCo] in Jordan/ Egypt were supported with executive recruitment. I visited foreign Embassies in Riyadh to build business relationships/ solve problems. I met with senior overseas government Ministers, notably in the Philippines and Nepal to overcome manpower supply issues. Researched, identified, negotiated with potential new overseas 'manpower supply' markets. Over the years I built and coached a team successfully recruiting, deploying, over 10,000 people per annum, for each of the years 2013, 2014 and 2015.
