As the leader of the Discovery Team, I provide strategic and operational direction for teams located in both San Diego and Singapore, driving our therapeutic discovery and development efforts. Our teams specialize in hit identification, lead optimization, and candidate selection for T cell receptor (TCR)-based therapeutics. We also harness advanced computational techniques, including Machine Learning/AI, to expedite our discovery process.As a key member of the Senior Management Team, reporting directly to the CEO, I actively share our scientific advancements with key stakeholders to foster the company's growth and development. I play a pivotal role in building and maintaining relationships across our investor, collaborator, and partner networks. Additionally, I am responsible for communicating our research progress to the Board of Directors and Scientific Advisory Board, providing them with regular updates to keep them informed and engaged in our strategic initiatives.

Led a team responsible for discovery research, preclinical development, and IND-enabling studies of engineered human T-cell therapies. This included developing strategies and executing plans to advance preclinical programs, managing hiring plans and budgets, providing updates to the Senior Leadership Team and external stakeholders, ensuring cross-functional alignment on Cell Therapy projects, and evaluating external collaborations and licensing opportunities. Successfully led the team from preclinical stages to IND approval for four allogeneic, gene-edited cell therapy products.
