Legal Aid Ontario's initiative is giving low-income people access to a range of legal services tailored to meet their legal needs. As an intern for MCLS I was tasked with the drafting, revision, and analysis of important documents and cases. In addition, I was given an introduction to many of the basic legal aid that was offered by the clinic, such as government welfare, Ontario Disability Support Program, and the Workplace Safety Insurance Board.
