Principal Optics Researcher In Ar/Vr Near-Eye Displays
CurrentIn my current role at Inmersia, I lead the research and development of cutting-edge AR/VR systems. I specialize in generating and validating innovative concepts within an interdisciplinary team composed of optical, electronic, and chemical engineers.

As researcher at the department for applied physics, I developed a novel laser projection technology and its applications. We transferred this technology into a high-speed microscope (European patent WO2020007761A1 ) and an optical micro-manipulation system (https://doi.org/10.1364/OL.391462). A third application in laser video projection received a valorization fund (F2I-FVal 2020). The development of prototypes granted me insights in technology transfer and patenting processes.My daily work required a deep understanding of optical elements, electronic hardware and image acquisition and processing. Also I had fun programming to delegate monotonous tasks to computers.
