About Dustin Ditommaso

I founded the behavior change design practice at Mad*Pow with the mission to integrate behavioral and social science, design, and technology to create products, services, and programs that change real-world behaviors and improve the human condition. My team’s work has been at the forefront of developing digital interventions for social good, and we’ve partnered with dozens of organizations big and small to launch and optimize influential offerings to improve the health, wealth, and wellbeing of the populations they serve. In 2022, I left to join MeQuilibrium in their journey to deliver effective and engaging mental health and workplace wellbeing services. Here I lead design and research operations, vision, and craft. Outside of my role a meQ, I sit on the executive scientific committee of the Centre for Behaviour Change at University College London where we look to facilitate collaboration between academia and industry to further our collective understanding of and practical methodologies for the design, implementation, and evaluation of effective behavioral interventions. I’ve been lucky enough to learn from and collaborate with luminaries in the field of behavioral science, public health, and motivational psychology and try to give back as much as I’ve received. I’ve trained hundreds of practitioners around the world on how to apply behavioral science and human-centered design to address complex problems and volunteer my time to work on behavioral research and social impact projects focused on inequity and inclusion. I’m humbled to be able to publicize the following project and research partners: AARP, Hopelab, Kaiser Permanente, Truth Initiative, Vulcan Productions, Aetna-CVS, Joslin Diabetes Center, Cleveland Clinic, Henry Ford Hospital, Janssen, Eli Lilly, Sanofi, Cigna, Humana, New Ocean Health, Galvanic Ltd, Ignilife, MyStrength, MeQuilibrium, Reflexion Health, GE, Nokia, Samsung, U.S. DOH, DOE, CDC, John Snow Inc, Civil Society Institute, CGAP, CFPB, World Bank, Federal Reserve Bank, Diamond Bank, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation
