At this position, I was responsible for: - Assisted an average of 50 customers a day by responding to inquiries, locating and explaining products in thorough detail in order to maximize sales-Listened to customer needs by building relationships to identify and recommended optimal product selections- Trained new employees on customer service, money handling, and organizing strategies to maximize performance, productivity, and team success - Organized, packaged, and prepared products in an efficient and presentable manner and produced documents and files in an organized manner

For this role, I: - Create infographics and educational posters regarding historical and current racial and gender-based disparities in healthcare regarding endometriosis and uterine fibroids- Communicate with communities and individuals regarding the research study, explaining purpose and methods- Ensure participant surveys, interviews, and environment is safe, accessible, and appropriateIn the future, expected to: - Assist in performing interviews for the community advisory group, study participants, andfocus groups- Assist in designing study participant journey maps during the data collection phase- Assist in designing WHS community presentation- Assist in the development of an intervention model upon completion of the data analysis- Make substantial contribution to research article derived from study in the form ofrevisions of intellectual content

In this position, I: - Entered insurance, demographics and health history into the patient database.- Checked patients in and out for appointments and scheduled appointments accordingly- Answered multi-line phone systems and directed callers to requested personnel and departments.- Delivered high-quality administrative and customer service to sustain patient and work flows.- Carried out daily tasks by professionally communicating with physicians, nursing staff, technicians and medical assistants.

This Role Entailed: - Reviewed and promoted EDI in all aspects of MacKin, including event plans, constitution, and course curriculum - Lead and organize a team of 5 subcommittee members, delegated tasks, and enforced deadlines- Facilitated Kinversations - a podcast style initiative that encourages conversations about 'taboo' and 'uncomfortable' topics - Lack of Black Representation in Healthcare & Academia, Trans Issues in Healthcare & Academia - Actively speak, support, and educate MacKin students about serious issues that affect the community, like Indigenous issues, lack of accessible options, and harmful stereotypes

In this position, I: - Received, reviewed, dispensed, labeled, and packaged over 100 prescriptions daily, experience with Fillware Technology- Assisted pharmacist in preparing medications, prescriptions, and clerical functions, including filing, copying, and faxing- Interacted with patients and customers to provide instructions regarding medications, and refer them to the accurate practitioner
