Since the onset of Covid 19 I have been involved in supporting students and focused on solutions. I taught remotely during 2020-21. When students were able to return to school on a limited basis (February 2021) I supervised a "learning lab" during which struggling students could attend school in person following covid protocols. In April 2021in person school was expanded. During this time I supervised a "learning annex" with up to 4 classes at a time participating on campus. I also served as a ELPAC test administer remotely. Summer of 2021 I taught summer school contributing to San Diego Unified School Districts Summer Experience program designed to encourage students, provide a fun, empowering experience and help learners transition back into school. I am grateful to have been able to effectively play a positive part in some of the solutions during a difficult time. I am proud of the students and myself for our perseverance, these were some of the most rewarding events in my life!
