While providing technical overviews would also depict and demonstrate specific use cases within various environments to showcase the significant increases in performance while also providing a lower cost of ownership as well as a lower cost for compute utilizing the FORSA in memory platform.

After recruitment to FalconStor Software in 2005, he spent two years modernizing the Enterprise Testing Labs at FalconStor HQ and developed an environment used for solution validation in the “proof-of-concept” process which was also used for the education and training of internal employees as well as channel partners. For the next ten years, Duane has supported Sales as a seasoned and trusted customer advisor. In his “self-titled” role as Solutions Ambassador, as a skilled presenter and public speaker, he has introduced and showcased data protection, business continuity, disaster recovery and deduplication platforms to various levels within different organizations. During this tenure, developed and implemented a modernization plan transforming the QA lab to showcase FalconStor solutions use within production level environments. The transformed Enterprise Testing Lab expansion allowed for inclusion of updated storage platforms and infrastructure from major OEM vendors. The ETL environment became initial proof of concept validation infrastructure and was used as the foundation for transformation of the similar QA environments.

Dalan Consulting operated as a ‘knowledgeable but client friendly’ full-service system integration firm which provided comprehensive solutions to small and medium sized enterprises primarily located within the Northeast Region of the United States.During the operational tenure, the firm progressed to maintaining corporate datacenters for organizations headquartered in the NY/NJ Metro area and was recruited by IBM for the IBM Business Partner Enterprise Solution and Network Enterprise Teams.Notable actions:Re-architected and implemented the backup / data protection environment at four IBM named accounts which had been deemed ‘impossibly troublesome’ due to limits placed with strict uptime and system availability. Infrastructure Architect for the IBM ‘Fan Mail’ Project for the 1998 Nagano Olympic Games in which the environment was transformed to be portable and reusable, built in NYC and subsequently deployed at location remotely in Nagano, Japan. Worked with IBM Education / Training on the creation of three Professional Certification Courses and Exams subsequently offered by IBM and Prometric Training.
