My job involves all aspects of emergency preparedness, including planning, training. I will be responsible for coordination and implementation during disasters and emergencies as well as providing logistical support and working with all the different entities involved. I am also responsible for obtaining grants needed to maintain our preparedness and training.

Work with training officer, Gaming EMS Director, Leech Lake Tribal College, and other entities that use our training resources. I set up, staff and coordinate CPR, EMT, EMR classes. We teach as many as 600 people a year with an emphasis on our local communities. Also tasked with reaching out to our rural communities and providing training opportunities, as well as working with community leaders to set up and advertise these classes.
