I am part of a team that oversees the functions and operations of 35 commercial fueling stations in Southern California. We deal with the mechanical and electrical components that provide a safe and effective form of fuel delivery Responsibilities include: maintaining Point of Sale equipment at contract throughput customer, merchant and associate locations. Conduct POS equipment and set up training with contract merchants, associates and their staffs. Hang signage at contract merchant and associate locations. Perform major maintenance on equipment and physical facilities. Oversee and assist outside services companies conducting maintenance, service, certifications and testing services at the locations. Housekeeping, general maintenance and repair of equipment and physical facilities at designated locations using daily/weekly check list. Inspect and report on the environmental condition of the equipment and locations. Perform trained environmental services. Report findings of all inspections and repairs performed to designated facilities services personnel daily. Analyze customer problems and either assist or direct them to a source that can resolve the problem. Complete any other tasks or duties as requested by management.

In November 2010, I made the decision to leave my full time position for health reasons and family matters. My father was demanding a lot of my time due to his medical condition with Parkinson’s disease and I was under a great deal of stress. Since that time I have made efforts to improve my father’s quality of life and also do what I could to be a supportive member of the family. Taking on the role of Property Manager for the family rental properties, I have been responsible to keep the rental occupancy at 100% and the property in good condition. I have also been the handyman for any work needed such as painting, plumbing and gardening. On occasion over the years I have had work as a handyman / painter and also have worked with the temporary employment agencies. My father was in 24 hour care and passed in October of 2014. I am seeking to obtain regular employment again.
