Being the Broker in Charge at the Pelham Road office in Greenville, South Carolina of Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices | C. Dan Joyner, REALTORS. We are one of the primary offices in the southeast for the Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices organization.I am also responsible for recruiting new agents and retaining current agents. I thoroughly enjoy this aspect of my position, which includes training and encouraging my sales and administration staff. While I am a non-competing Broker in Charge, which can be a rarity in the real estate industry, I have more than a decade of experience in real estate. This unique position gives me the opportunity to mentor and develop our agents with compassion and understanding.

While growing to a team of five over the course of five years, my proudest accomplishment during that time was adding the property management division to our suite of services.

My responsibilities included developing and executing a sales strategy for residential real estate. This consisted of creating a marketing strategy that reached past clients, spheres of influence, and prospective new business leads. I also developed yearly business plans and budgets based on current and future projections of the market.

In my first year of sales, I produced over $3,000,000 in volume. Although my hard work quickly paid off, I always had an entrepreneurial spirit. Starting your own business is always a risk, but to me it was a risk worth taking that ultimately led to two successful ownership ventures.
