Responsible for the conduct and oversight of criminal and internal affairs/integrity investigations involving threats to the transportation network in southern Texas. Routinely called upon for difficult or complex investigations throughout the south central US (Dallas Field Division AoR). Representative to the FBI Border Corruption Task Force and responsible for liaison and conduct of task force investigations involving DHS/TSA interests. Lauded for the development of a joint-agency insider threat operation aimed at identifying and deterring insider threats and corruption. Initially launched as a southwest border initiative, this operation became a national joint-agency program. By name requested to personally brief this program and its strategic objectives to senior members of the Federal Law Enforcement Community to include Deputy Director of the FBI and senior staff, Undersecretary of Homeland Security, Administrator of TSA, senior leadership team within TSA, DHS Director of Counterintelligence, and senior members of HSI and ICE. These briefings detailed a well thought out operational plan which resulted in the entire operation being elevated to a national, joint-agency program. Repeatedly called upon by TSA HQ to conduct numerous senior-level briefings on agency investigative capabilities and strategies. Named as the TSA Special Agent of the Year (Law Enforcement Award) for 2016, and nominated for TSA Special Agent of the Year for 2015.
