I have continually provided leadership resources, education and networking opportunities in community and economic development throughout the Appalachian region. These areas have utilized his experience gained over the past thirty years within: Entrepreneurship – by developing platforms for aspiring entrepreneurs, both artisan and non-artisan, to help individuals and groups initiate the process and create ideas2action™.Management – by working with the Federal Reserve System during the 1990s to helping establish an in-store start-up branch banking system in the Charleston, WV area to working on the state level and national level with credit unions throughout West Virginia via the WV Credit Union League. Marketing – by being actively involved in a marketing research firm providing data to organizations such as ABC Broadcasting Company, Disney, ESPN, and other various organizations.Education – by providing consultations and training to public organizations and as a faculty member for over ten years facilitating students’ learning of topics within business ethics, entrepreneurship, management, and marketing. My current passion lies with developing projects and programs in the Appalachian region by building and expanding upon alliances for a greater foundation, economic prosperity, and more sustainable communities; in essence bringing cooperative collaboration to the forefront. I earned a Bachelor of Business of Administration degree majoring in Marketing and International Business from Ohio University along with a Master of Business Administration degree from Marshall University.
