I have a B.S. in Decision Sciences and MIS. and a Minor in IT from George Mason University in May of 2006. I also possess a Project + and a Project Management Professional (PMP) Certifications. My degree from George Mason University also included semester hours in project management. I have accumulated various wireless Certifications over my career. I bring a culmination of over 25 years, with a combination of Deployment and Field Operations, Data Center operations, Systems Engineering, Integration and Testing, Hardware troubleshooting and maintenance, Software Management, Operating Systems, Telecom, Network Operations, customer Service, Network Design, and a pioneer in the Wireless industry. As a pioneer in the Wireless Networking field utilizing (DSSS) and (FHSS), I have spent time in Africa and U.S. Nationally. I’ve designed and implementing wireless links for various businesses such as Reutters and Africa On-line, RadNet (Radford University), N.Y.P.D. and Chicago’s Surveillance Camera systems. I've also been a Restaurant, real estate agent, and a D.J. in my past life. My main expertise is in operations. Streamlining projects to create efficient operations in Field deployments, project planning and/or Managing Network Operation Centers by creating teams that are results oriented. I can honestly say, I have worked in every aspect of the technology field, from front end user to backend load balanced setups at data communications centers. My technical skills are extensive in field operations and an Enterprise NOC facility as I've specialized recently in Firewall Administration utilizing Palo Alto’s firewalls / Panorama, Symantec Blue Coat Forward Proxies, and Cisco ASAs, some F5, certificate renewals, and various other routing and switching with CISCO as the Deputy Tier 2 Manager of the DHS Network Operations Center. I have also served 8 years in the United States Marine Corps and a short period in Army National Guard VA Officer Candidate School. Discharged Honorable from both. I also currently hold a 10% Service-Disabled Veteran Status. For the past 10 years I’ve served in a contractor capacity for the Department of Homeland Security. I rose through the ranks to be the Network Operation Center Manager for Tier 2.Now I look forward to my next chapter in my career with my own business NOC-OPS Developing as a Managed Services Provider and Govt. contracting.
