The Rocky Ford City Council is composed of a mayor and 6 council members. Of those 6 members, two ward council members represent each one of the three wards that section the city. The 6 members of Rocky Ford's city council are volunteer, part-time elected officials, meaning they may all have jobs in addition to their responsibilities as council members. Initially appointed on a 6-0 vote to fill a vacant seat for the remainder of the election year. Re-elected to a 4-year term expiring 2025. Voted by Council to serve at Mayor Pro Tempore in February 2023. Elected in November 2023 by 68% of voters as the Mayor of Rocky Ford.
