Founder/Cto
Gryphon Software Corporation
Founded Gryphon with initial funding from Avalon Ventures, developing special effects and children's edutainment software. Wrote the multiple-award-winning product "Morph" and other special effects packages for Microsoft Windows and Mac OS. Expanded into CDROM-based multimedia children's software, both under the Gryphon Software brand, and the Walt Disney Company (Aladdin Activity Center, Lion King Activity Center), Saban Interactive (Power Rangers Activity Center, Power Rangers Coloring Book), and others. Also licensed properties from other companies, such as DC Comics (Batman Activity Center, Superman Activity Center), Suzy's Zoo, Colorform, and many others. Gryphon Software was acquired by CUC International (later Cendant Corporation) and merged into the Knowledge Adventure division.
