My responsibilities included supervising the store's sales team and ensure that the team is aware of their sales goals in order to achieve the daily targets. I reported directly to the Store Manager and the District Manager on the store's daily business trends, as well as developed marketing plans for in-store events to drive my business. Within the first seven months of my tenure with The Body Shop, I was made the Acting Manager for the Yonge & Eglinton location and helped oversee it's closure.

Responsible for opening and closing the store, tracking sales, completing sales reports, and maintaining a meticulous storefront.

When available, I freelanced as a Book Manager for Booktrope, an online Seattle startup that uses online services to put together creative teams – authors, editors, designers and others involved in producing books — in order to produce high quality titles for readers at reasonable prices. As a Book Manager, I selected projects in the YA genre that enticed me, and helped authors to publicize and market their books through social media.

At this camp I have worked in the capacity of camp counsellor, head camp counsellor, CIT/LIT director, and Counselling Director, until I was promoted to Assistant Camp Director in 2011. In that final position I was in charge of administration, hiring, training, management, and performance reviews of 30+ personnel and volunteers. I communicated with the camp registrar to place campers into cabins, and I also communicated with several organizations to discuss their campers' arrangements, including Big Brothers/Big Sisters, United Way agencies and Family & Children services. I also planned staff appreciation trips and activities, and designed staff sweaters.I was happy to help organize the camp's Annual Poker Run fundraiser to send underprivileged kids to the camp.

- Under the supervision of Janice Ouellette, I took the minutes of each KYAC meeting and was responsible in overseeing special events hosted by the group. - Was one of the founders of an annual music event at Kitchener City Hall called Unity Jam. I put out calls for submission to local music artists to perform at the show, reviewed the received demos with the council, and communicated with the selected musicians to keep them informed of event updates. - I assisted with the other annual event hosted by KYAC, the Youth Awards. I wrote speeches about two recipients and presented them with their awards. The Mayor of Kitchener congratulated me on my public speaking, which was a major honour.
