In January 2021, I graduated as a chemical engineer from Instituto Superior Técnico and during the course I gained a special interest in molecular dynamics. In this field, I developed my master’s thesis entitled “Langmuir Monolayers of Perfluorinated Alcohols: A Molecular Dynamics Approach” with the supervision of Prof. Dr. Eduardo Morilla Filipe and Dr. Pedro Morgado, during which I co-authored a research article. From March to June of 2021, I joined in the teaching panel of "Termophysical Properties of fluids; Measurement and Prediction", a 4th year molecular dynamics subject from the Integrated Master's Chemical Engineering course from Instituto Superior Técnico.In 2019, I took part in a summer internship in C2TN, which consisted in the study of the role of black carbon in the environment. This gave me a good basis of how to thrive in a professional work setting.I pride myself in being resourceful, analytical, pragmatic and data-driven. I excel at research, which makes me able to adapt to new circumstances, methods and ideas easily. Data analysis is also one of my strong suits, for which I recently started teaching myself new programming languages. I’m proficient in Microsoft Excel, Aspen Plus, GAMS and GROMACS and have a working knowledge of Matlab, Fortran and Python.From July 2021 to April 2022, I worked in the Product Compliance team at the portuguese toy company "Science4you". I handled communication with suppliers, clients and certifiers on certification matters as well as labeling for packaging and user guides.At this time and since July 2023 I'm employed by Indaver Portugal, working in Sales and Invoicing.
