As a project engineer in PWA, I am responsible for covering the project management-coordination of large sewerage construction projects (+30km length sewer networks) in dense populated urban environments.Performing duties (management under PMP guidelines) with focus on leading & coordinating the contractor and supervision consultant teams, issues and risk management, stakeholder coordination, planning & progress monitoring, financial control of projects, monitoring of construction activities, employer/client representative in official meetings/presentations in the employer-consultant-contractor-stakeholder circuit, projects final handover and maintenance period related activities. I provide direct leadership, direction & coordination to the supervision consultant teams, including resident engineers, planning engineers, quantity surveyors, contract specialists, health & safety and take a decisive role on the interview & selection process of the above teams.Associated with the position, I also perform duties associated with Pre & Post tender activities, such as preparing technical tender documents, technical knowledge inputs for specification sections, design & drawings review for project scope added value, value-engineering principles implementation, risk assessment, bill of quantities review (based on CESMM3) and technical & financial evaluation of tenderers.I perform team leading/coordination in emergency flooding prevention task force, including assessment of adequacy and deployment of contractor´s resources on site.

Perform of Civil Engineering project designs for housing, commercial buildings, hospitals, hotels, public buildings, in the following categories:- Structural Concrete & Steel, stability and foundations of buildings;- Water supply networks for buildings and infrastructure projects;- Fire Fighting networks for buildings and infrastructure projects;- Foul Sewer & Drainage networks for buildings and infrastructure projects;- Storm and Rainwater networks for buildings and infrastructure projects;- Acoustic insulation & control for buildings (housing, schools, hospitals, heavy equipment chambers);- Thermic Insulation design projects;- Gas networks for buildings projects.For the above designs, I performed the applicable specifications - scope of works, drawings and bill of quantities and designer supervision on site.
