I have been a Partner at Abreu Advogados since 2006 and I’m Chairman at Abreu Advogados since April 2021.I was Managing Partner at Abreu from 2014 to April 2021.My main practice area is the structuring of foreign investment and on acquisition operations in the Portuguese market, particularly the real estate sector, providing legal advice in the real estate, commercial, M&A and tax fields of law.I am particularly involved in some of the most relevant transactions acquisitions of shopping centers, retail parks and logistics platforms in Portugal.I have been advising several to many Brazilian private clients and family-owned groups in asset structuring, ensuring effective generational transfer of ownership. As I am bilingual in Portuguese and French, I also provide legal assistance to the Firm’s French clients in their acquisitions in Portugal.I also have extensive international experience having held various positions in international lawyers' organisations, such as AIJA (President) and IBA (Co-Chair of Commercial Real Estate Committee).
