I have 14 years of experience working in the cyber security area and Windows system programming. My main job was malware analysis and developing security solutions to monitor computer systems and network traffic to detect and handle malicious actors.I have switched to the game industry from July 2017 and have been working as a game security engineer for Ubisoft Singapore for 4 years. I was responsible for reviewing the game design and helping the production team to develop and deploy security solutions (obfuscation, encryption and anti-cheats) to protect the game from cheaters.In my current position at Razer, I help debugging crashes, optimizing software performance and building various tools facilitating the development and testing process. I also created a “virtual devices” system to scale up development and test automation. Developers and test systems can run an arbitrary number of “devices” without the presence of physical devices.I am familiar with the low-level programming, Windows operating system and have a good understanding of the Windows Application Programming Interface (Windows API), Windows internals and various Windows hooking and monitoring techniques. I also have experience in malware analysis, commercial antivirus product development and game cheat/anti-cheat techniques.
