• Oversees all aspects of Coats's goods and services purchasing function. In charge of all purchasing activities for materials (grey thread, chemicals, colors…), materials for packing (carton boxes, wooden pallets…), consumable goods, small tools/equipment…Service for factory (Car rental service, Transportation/ logistic/3PL service, import and export- Customs clearance, …)• Handle with SAP systems for creating Vendor code, issuing PO, follow up PO…• Building relationship, and working together with Warehouse manager, Distribution manager, 3PL managers… to make sure Quality of products/ service and their delivery schedule can meet the requirements.• Carefully check the data of each vendor to make sure that they are really strong and have ability to work with Coats by checking (business license, cross check information, capacity, their production line, working data…) then making decisions. • Collect at least 3 quotations for each items, negotiate with suppliers to get best conditions and get approval for best price/ best payment terms. For long term contract (car rental, transportation/3PL service…), use Bidding method to find out the best supplier.• Weekly and monthly meeting with suppliers for 3PL to find out the pending items…• Manage purchasing staff (technical field), following Operation standard and Purchasing policy. Give working instructions to staff and operators in other sections.• Provide weekly/ monthly expenses reports to BOM and Purchasing manager.• Support Accounting section for collection finance documents • Communicate with customers, suppliers, reply their NCR, Claims or issue Claims letters• Perform any other duty, which may be assigned from time to time by management

Purchasing • Establishing and maintain business relation with Suppliers for materials in Japan (Color batch, PVC compound, Taiwan (Compound, Ink, solvent…), Thailand (Compound), Hong Kong (Ink, Solvent, Color batch), Indonesia (Copper), Ha Noi, Hai Duong (Packing materials, tools and spare parts, electric parts…), • Manage the lead time from suppliers for materials, tools and spare parts for production line…Monthly visiting, pushing local suppliers (if need) to follow the due date…• Manage staffs to make payments, control company expenses and compare with our yearly, monthly budgets. Make report for special case/ over budgets. Yearly submit suggestions budgets based on last year results.• Manage 5 purchasing staffs, making yearly target, quarterly target for Purchasing section, recruitment and training for the new comers.• Issuing Operation standard, Working instructions…Logistic and warehouse • Close working with 3PL supplier (Dragon, Vijaco, Intertrans) for making import and export goods. Make sure that FIFO process is following. • Monitor performance of 3PL in the areas of receiving, put away, order fulfillment, daily stock cycle count and manage together with 3PL Manager at site to resolve operational issues. • Design and review warehouse layout plan to optimize storage space utilization and expansion and able to facilitate seamless operation workflow at operational area. • Set up SOP, drive “Kaizen” measures implementation and conduct training to ensure Kaizen measures reach optimum effects. • Make clear Customs balance every 3 months.• Manage staffs and let them comply fully the company’s policies and provide weekly/ monthly reports to BOM.• Controlling document related to purchasing/ Import export department and ISO system document
