As Crew Leader of the Receiving team, I am responsible for coordinating, assigning and reviewing the work of the Distribution Center employees. The job requires planning, organizing, and overseeing staff logistics, including establishing work schedules and procedures, training workers in safety roles and procedures, and resolving work-related issues. The job also involves assisting with all operations of receiving and organizing inventory, unloading, stacking, moving and placing products in designated areas, transferring products between various sections of the warehouse, using forklifts and other equipment, performing inventory counts detailed manuals, filling and tracking outbound orders, reporting equipment malfunctions to senior management, and following all warehouse policies and standard operating procedures. Ultimately, the job requires working with other warehouse staff members to efficiently complete assigned tasks, including unloading materials and goods from incoming vehicles and stacking them in designated locations.
