As the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) and VP of BIMSOP, a leading technology company specializing in Building Information Modeling (BIM), Build Material Platform and solutions, I am responsible for leading the development and implementation of innovative technologies that drive the company’s growth and success.In this role, I work closely with the executive team and other department heads to define the company’s strategic technology vision and ensure that our products and services meet the evolving needs of our customers. I oversee a team of skilled software engineers, architects, and other technical professionals who are dedicated to developing high-quality, user-friendly software solutions.As the CTO & VP of BIMSOP, I have successfully led the development and launch of several new products, including a cloud-based BIM collaboration platform ,a national green building materials platform, and a national BIM component database. These products have helped to establish BIMSOP as a leader in the BIM and construction industry and have generated significant revenue for the company.In addition to product development, I am also responsible for overseeing the company’s technology infrastructure. I ensure that our systems are reliable, scalable, and secure, and that they meet industry standards and regulations.Furthermore, I play a key role in establishing and maintaining strategic partnerships with other technology companies and industry leaders. Research and investigate the new on-going technologies from internal or external of the company, evaluate the possibility of putting new techs into our productions, including different IaaS, PaaS cloud solutions including Amazon Web Services, Windows Azure, Salesforce.com, Android/iOS, HTML5/WebGL, JavaScript, and keep tracking the evolvement of open source community. Develop and deliver training courses and presentations to developers face to face or by webcast.Develop technical contents including technical notes, white papers, newsletters and technical blogs.Involve in marketing activities including presentations and event participation. Evangelize the adoption of Cloud and Mobile technologies. Support the growth of the 3rd party developers as advisor.Provide technical/programming consulting services including software design and technical problem resolution to developers of third-party applications.
