Since founding The Small Practice in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, in January 2022, I have focused on innovative and sustainable architectural design. One of my key projects includes Modasar Lakefront Development, where I led the design of the lake and its surrounding areas while ensuring smooth execution. Another notable project was a weekend home on a mango farm, where I implemented ancient rammed earth construction techniques. I facilitated the execution by training labor contractors to achieve the desired outcomes. Additionally, I oversaw the renovation and extension of an apartment, skillfully integrating new client requirements into the existing structure while maintaining both functionality and aesthetics.

During my internship, I designed and developed construction documents for the Nature Interpretation Center at Chaibasa, Jharkhand, India. I also played a key role in coordinating on-site execution, ensuring that the project was delivered according to design specifications. Additionally, I contributed to the feasibility study of the Natural History Museum Interpretation Project, focusing on aligning the project’s goals with practical and sustainable execution strategies.

As an Associate Architect, I led a team in the design development of projects, with a focus on adapting to diverse construction laws and execution methods in different countries. One of my key projects was the façade design for Raw Bank in Kolwezi, Congo. I tackled the challenge of a complex geometric structure by simplifying its design, ensuring both aesthetic appeal and construction feasibility. My role emphasized cross-border coordination, innovative problem-solving, and managing projects from concept to completion

I participated in a three-week hands-on workshop focused on constructing buildings using sun-dried mud adobe bricks from scratch in a mountain setting. This immersive experience deepened my understanding of sustainable building techniques. The institute also practiced permaculture, offering a unique opportunity to explore environmentally conscious agricultural practices alongside earthen construction methods.

During my internship at PKA, I primarily focused on leading on-site execution and producing construction documents. I also assisted the lead designer in design development. One of my key contributions was designing a parking structure, with an emphasis on efficient management of vehicle flow in large parking lots.
