I am an astute Procurement Professional who has gone through the New Zealand Eligibility Assessment conducted by Joyce Li, a Licensed Immigration Agent. I am eligible for the Accredited Employer Work Visa (AEWV).Under my belt, is extensive experience, spanning over 15years within the Mining, Engineering & Agriculture Industries. My experience is divided into 2 parts- Procurement of goods & services for consumption within the Mines I previously worked for. In my current position, I procure goods for resell in the Mining & Agriculture industries. I have contributed to the achievement of over 40% profitable business growth using the following skills:Strategic Sourcing: which enables me to analyse supply markets in order to choose the best suppliers who are able to meet the organisations’ needs in terms of the right quality, price and quantity and who are also able to deliver on time and preferably in full.Negotiation: communication with suppliers with the aim of reducing acquisition costs of products , improve on lead times and quality levels. Reduced acquisition costs in turn contribute to improved Margins on Sales, ultimately increasing profits. Procurement : managing the Purchase to Pay cycle i.e. processing RFQs, adjudicating quotations received, placing orders with chosen suppliers, expediting them for timely deliver and ensuring successful payment of Invoices.Supplier Relationship Management: maintain collaborative supplier relationships which result in improved communication & information sharing, preferential treatment, reduced total cost to deliver goods. Interpersonal Communication Skills: establish and maintain relationships with different stakeholders from diverse backgrounds. This improves working relationships and reduces conflicts.I would like to bring my knowledge and experience to other industries as well.
